A Wyoming Nurse Who Built What Her State Was Missing.
Christina Laird-Rogers is a Wyoming native and a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing experience. She earned her nursing degree at Central Wyoming College, completed her BSN in 2018, and earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Walden University in 2020.
Over her career she has cared for patients of every age — from pediatrics to geriatrics — across primary care, orthopedics, oncology, and wound care. That breadth showed her how often patients fall through the gap between what insurance covers and what actually keeps them well.
After seeing how many Wyomingites had no local access to specialized wound care, she opened Wound & Skin Care of Wyoming on September 1, 2024, and has since extended that mission across state lines with Wound & Skin Care of Idaho. Her approach is simple: treat the whole patient, not just the hole in the patient.
