Big City Care. Wyoming Values.
I started this practice because I believe you shouldn’t have to drive to Denver to save your limb.

The Founder’s Story
The System Was Failing My Patients.
My name is Christina Laird-Rogers, FNP-C. Before I founded Wound Care of Wyoming, I worked in the traditional medical system. I saw the same heartbreaking pattern over and over:
Patients with serious wounds were being told to “wait for a referral.” They were driving hours over mountain passes for 15-minute appointments. And while they waited, their wounds got worse.
I knew there had to be a better way. So I built it.
Wound Care of Wyoming is the practice I wished existed for my own family: No referrals. No runaround. Just expert care, right here at home.
Why a Nurse Practitioner?
The FNP-C Difference
Many patients ask, “Are you a doctor?” I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C).
In the world of wound care, this is a distinct advantage. It means I am trained to treat the whole patient, not just the symptom.
- I Can Prescribe: I manage the medications needed to fight infection and control diabetes.
- I Can Perform Procedures: I am certified to perform debridements, biopsies, and advanced grafting.
- I Have the Time: My practice model allows me to spend time investigating why you aren’t healing, rather than rushing to the next room.

Our Philosophy
We Treat the Patient, Not Just the Hole.
A wound is rarely just a wound. It is a signal that something else is wrong—whether that’s uncontrolled diabetes, poor circulation, or nutritional deficits.
If we just put a bandage on it, it will never truly heal. My team and I play detective to find the root cause. We fix the foundation so the house can stand.
We Go Where You Are
We know that in Central Wyoming, “neighbor” means someone who might live 50 miles away. That’s why we don’t just sit in our Casper clinic.
6 Locations
We hold clinics in Casper, Thermopolis, Riverton, Cody, Powell, and Douglas.
Mobile Unit
If you are homebound or in a nursing facility, we bring the clinic to you.
